I have always wanted to do a destination wedding, or family session by the ocean. I love the mountains but a sunset on the ocean is absoulotly stunning.
So when My Husband and I made a trip to Cozumel Mexico for a wedding , you can imagine how excited we were too find a family who wanted family photos.
We stayed at the Allegro Cozumel for a week and had bumped into this fantastic family a few times during our stay. It was refreshing to have a change of scenery to shoot in. Of course I had all my gear, I was prepared for everything.:)
The only real challenge is the sand, it is relentless, it sticks to everything. The humidity causes everything to fog up, it was a bit of a waiting game for my gear to acclimatize.
This family was super patient and the kids were awesome, I’m so greatfull for the experience.
These boys were super cute, it took a little convincing and some tickles to get them to both smile at the same time.
If you plan on having a destination wedding , keep us in mind. 🙂 We love to travel.
