Happy New year!! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.

We had a  fantastic year and the absolute best couples! Thank you so much to all of my Bride’s and Grooms for allowing us to capture your wedding day.
This year took us to, Westcastle, Fernie, Banff, Waterton , Crownest Pass, Taber, Wrentham , Vauxhall, Fort Macleod and of course a few in Lethbridge.

I have selected just 1 photo, yes this was almost impossible , from each wedding we did this year.
I did second shoot a few times of the year for some talented photographers, however all of these are from our weddings.

Hope you all enjoy a few of my favourites.

Anja & Randall had there wedding outside at pebble beach in West Castle. It was freezing! They both opted out of the traditional wedding attire which was definitely the warmer choice.
Later in July they had a second wedding in Germany in a castle for the brides family. I have yet to see the photos but I have no doubt they are stunning.

Judie and Danny had the wedding pictures done a couple days before the ceremony. We drove out to Miners Walk in Coleman. When we left Lethbridge it was sunny and warm, an hour into the drive we were hit by a nasty blizzard. The first half hour of pictures was a complete white out.

This is by far one of my favourite candid pictures. Cassidy and Blake had a beautiful may wedding. we were even fortunate enough to outrun a rain storm and catch the cherry blossoms.

When Danielle asked if would be ok to have a few pictures with her and Dustin’s horses I was ecstatic! This was a dream wedding! We could have asked for a better turnout for a may wedding.

We had the perfect weather for Robert and Katelyn’s wedding. The two were married in Readymade Community Centre , we then headed to the research station for some beautiful spring photos.

Everything about Ashley and Scott’s wedding was beautiful, This Fernie location was stunning and for the last weekend in May it was insanely hot. We couldn’t seem to hide enough from the sun, but the view made it all worth it.

Chad and I took a vacation to Mexico with all the kids for a friends wedding at the start of June the break was nice, May was a little crazy with 4 weddings of our own and 2 I second shot for.
He was a grooms man and I of course had to snap a few photos, this is definitely my dream to shoot a wedding in a tropical destination.

Nicolette and Riley are the sweetest couple, they got married out a family friends farm.
It has been the first wedding I have attended where the bride has prepared and cooked most of the meal.

Shauna and Jack had a beautiful wedding in Gyro park. They were fortunate to have missed the rain by a few minutes , we waited it out and took a few pictures under the west side hill. I love when we get the opportunity to try out new locations.

Karen and Brett had a hot July wedding in Fort Macleod, we definitely wanted to get a few pictures in on the green bridge before heading back to Lethbridge.
I’m so thankful traffic is patient when we take up spaces like this , sometimes it takes a while to position a whole wedding party, lighting and my self just in time for a car to pull up.
I love Karens Dress it was so cute, and perfect for the day!

I have yet to post this blog, coming soon!

If you have ever seen a Punjabi wedding you know it is full of amazing colour! This wedding took place over a few days, some in Calgary and some in Lethbridge. I was booked for the actual day, but suggested they use 2 photographers one in Calgary for the Calgary events and one in Lethbridge for all the Lethbridge events. it turned out this worked Perfect. I covered their pre-wedding in banff a month before, the grooms family reception before the wedding, the groom Getting ready , 2 hours before heading to another wedding then covered the welcome home for the bride. This was the first time I had seen the bride in her dress and asked if I could get one picture , i know they were spent after a day of photos and a ceremony in Calgary but they agreed.
I absolutely loved her dress and the colours they had chosen!

The night before Henry and Tina’s wedding this brides sister messaged me to see if I was available, the couple was in a need of a last minute photographer.
I’m glad we were available. I love this brides dress!

Kayla and Ian’s wedding was without a doubt never a dull moment. From the moment he threw the bride over his shoulder and ran out of the ceremony to the crazy picture poses we got to try, we knew we were in for a treat.

Quintina and Mike wanted to do a sparkler send off at the end of the evening, I absolutey love the idea and although I had never done it before I love how it turned out.
This was one of the hottest weddings of the year and very smoky.

This was the windiest day ever and so cold. we really had to shoot quick and go warm up, I felt so bad fro the bridal party, however we were super lucky to have beautiful fall colours.

I have been photographing Jayme and Brad for a few years and when Jayme approached me about there wedding, the date was based on my availability and it being in Waterton.
However the fire happened 2 days before the ceremony and it was cancelled, this couple amazed me with there positive outlook. They made the best of it and decided to have a service outside at the Helen Schuler nature centre. The colours were beautiful !

Trudy and Dave’s wedding was the last of 2017 for us.
It was cold and these two were amazing. This was the biggest wedding party we have had to date , 7 on each side. We have yet to post a blog from these twos special day but there is more to come soon.

Thank you to all of our couples and family that have supported us in 2017, we are looking forward to another great year!!
